Christoph informs us that in the book "75 Jahre Club zur Vahr Bremen", published in Bremen (RFA), 1980, reports some informations on this Open.
The Zur Vahr Bremen Golf Club was founded in 1905 but the game of golf was played as soon as 1895 on the racecourse. In 1901, Mrs Agnes Boecker von Kapff, playing at Bremen, won the Fano "International Golf Championship of Denmark". She was thus the very first German lady golf player to win a title of "golf champion". Her gold trophy is still featured in the zur Vahr club house.
